Renzo Rino Disperati taught gardener candidates all over the country how to grow ornamental plants that would meet the needs of the young Republic that was building its cities.
He laid the foundations of Gardenia and the Turkish landscape industry with the gardens he established in Büyükada in 1953 and in Yalova in 1960.
